Canadian park officials are advising drivers not to stop and let moose lick salt off their cars. This is because moose are attracted to the salt used to de-ice roads in winter, and lingering near roads puts them at risk of being hit by vehicles. Park officials understand that seeing wildlife is exciting, but they ask drivers to prioritize the safety of both the animals and themselves by keeping moving. Read the article
